AT&T Network: OK Recipes

On Menstrual Hygiene Day, we introduced fake menstrual products exposing a very real period problem: Some menstruators are forced to use everyday items when they can’t afford menstrual products.

To bring attention to the issue, we created fake menstrual product ads for socks, newspapers, and napkins (real items used as menstrual product substitutes). The ads not only highlighted the costs, but also the health and emotional toll of using these substitutes. Then, we asked people to donate to PERIOD.—everyone who menstruates should have access to safe and hygienic period products. Period.

Role: Associate Creative Direction / Art Director

Additionally, we created one-star review videos and static posts for these dangerous, alternative products and actual Toepon socks! (for your feet only). Each pair of Toepons sold for $25 directly supporting a menstruator for 5 menstrual cycles.
